Meet the Founder

I'm Zach Gittings, and I'm endlessly curious about the human condition — whether looked at anthropologically, biologically and genetically, or existentially — and I love finding enjoyable ways to connect with people over authentic experiences.

In session, I'm direct, kind, and affirming. I welcome clients of all faiths, with additional education in faith systems, and I'm LGBTQIA+ affirming, with additional education in sexuality. My approach is also culturally humble and aware. Clients can expect a grounded, honest therapeutic relationship — one that meets them where they are without judgment.

I have ten years of experience as a therapist, with a particular focus on helping people navigate life as an ADHD, Autistic, or AuDHD person, along with a growing interest in relationship counseling for couples and partners where one or both people identify as neurodivergent.

Beyond that specialization, my clinical experience spans complex trauma, mood disorders (including depression and bipolar disorder), generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, and co-occurring disorders involving mental illness and substance use.

In addition to my clinical work, I'm a graduate professor of assessment and diagnosis, which keeps me engaged in an ongoing, critical re-examination of diagnostic frameworks through varied perspectives — a practice that carries into my own clinical work.

I'm licensed to practice in Illinois, New Jersey, Nevada, Tennessee, and Colorado.
